My Daughter Brought a Heavily Tattooed Biker to Our Family Dinner and Introduced Him as Her Fiancé – My Husband Went Pale the Moment the Man Removed His Jacket

“You went to London for one summer.”

“I was there for almost three months.”

“Exactly. That’s barely enough time to learn where someone keeps their toothpaste.”

The man beside her smiled—not smugly, but like he understood I needed a moment to process everything.

Alice touched his arm.

“This is Aaron.”

He offered me his hand.

“It’s really good to meet you.”

His voice was surprisingly quiet.

That threw me more than the tattoos.

“I’m Jess, and this is my husband, Patrick.”

I hugged Alice first because I’d missed her too much to stay annoyed.

Then I looked at Aaron.

“Come inside before my neighbors decide I’ve joined a biker gang.”

Alice groaned.

“Mom.”

“What? I’m adjusting.”

Aaron laughed.

Even Patrick managed a smile.

Over the next half hour, Aaron dismantled nearly every assumption I’d made when I first saw him on the porch.

He helped carry plates without being asked. When Patrick talked about the shelves he’d built in the dining room, Aaron actually listened instead of pretending to care.

When I set down the salad, Aaron pointed toward the basil.
