King Charles has two distinct relationships with his sons. The situation with Harry is complicated, and while Prince William is providing him with all the necessary support, it appears that their relationship is not as perfect as it seems. Insiders now reveal how the king and the heir have had loud arguments, penetrating the \u201cthickest castle walls.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHarsh words have been exchanged in the past, angry rows permeating even the thickest castle walls, sometimes within earshot of staff,\u201d English wrote for the\u00a0Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have also been clashes of opinion on the professional side, such as the retention of ivory treasures in the Royal Collection (William wants to burn them, Charles believes they should be kept as historical artefacts), which not so long ago resulted in a \u2018frank\u2019 exchange.\u201d<\/p>\n

King Charles & Prince William\u2019s angry rows<\/h2>\n

Moreover, a royal aide recently told the Standard that Charles and William have a \u201ctricky relationship that goes far back. They even said William \u201cnever phones his Dad directly but has to schedule a call through the King\u2019s private office\u201d.<\/p>\n

While it might sound like a problem, perhaps that\u2019s not the whole truth. Rebecca English cited sources, saying the angry rows have not escalated in later years.<\/p>\n

Prince William has represented his father on several occasions in recent years. The fact that he has succeeded in stepping in for his father, as well as managed to handle the complicated situation with his brother, Prince Harry, in what many would call a proper way, while still managing to be a loving and dedicated father, leads many to believe that he is ready to become king.<\/p>\n

Another royal expert, Duncan Larcombe, further stated that, regardless of King Charles\u2019 determination to keep going and perform his duties as king, William and Kate are the future of the monarchy.<\/p>\n

Katie Nicholl pointed out the same thing, saying that the Prince and Princess of Wales are \u201cvery aware\u201d of their roles within the Firm as well as how they can best utilize their \u201cphenomenal soft power.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam has mastered that all-important skill of diplomacy, and though he\u2019s visited many politically sensitive areas like the Middle East and Ukraine, he\u2019s never been accused of being overtly political,\u201d she said. \u201cThe aides I\u2019ve spoken to and those who know him best say he is absolutely prepared.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the things that could be seen as a step towards William and Kate preparing to become king and queen is Kate\u2019s return to public life following her cancer treatment, which allows her to support her husband to the best of her ability.<\/p>\n
